Logos for Mac Icon

logos-128.png I recently bought Logos Bible Software for Mac. It comes with an impressive (albeit expensive) collection of material. Since it has now earned a permanent spot on my Dock, I wanted an icon that looked nicer than the one it comes with. Logos has a special icon for the Mac product on their website, but for a reason that completely escapes me, they do not include it with the package.

In searching around, however, for an alternative icon, I found a nice one here, but didn’t like that it was transparent in the middle. After some photoshop magic, I made the center part white so that it looks nice and pretty on my Dock.

You can download the icon here. To make this the default icon, unzip the file, go to your Applications folder and right click on the Libronix DLS app bundle and click “Show Package Contents.” Open the Resources folder and put this file in there, overwriting the existing file. You may need to log out and back in again for the changes to take effect. Note: you will probably have to repeat this process every time you update the Libronix DLS app.

Enjoy!

Nice! I’ve been wanting to change this for a while, but never really bothered to look around for an icon. Just loaded it up on my mac and it looks SWEET! thanks ;)
